uxcell 2 Pcs Plastic Soild 6.5" Outside Dia Car Speaker Spacers Mat for Honda

I used these for a speaker swap in my 2017 GTI MK7, 4 door. I ordered a different set of adapters that were as tall as my original speakers. By the time you mounted the speakers on top, they were about 1/3" taller than the originals. The problem is that the new, wider speaker would contact the back of the door baffles.So, I went with these with an Alpine SPR-60C complete upgrade. By the time, I had in sound deadening, gasket material, and the new speakers, the total height was close to the original setup... just low enough to clear the door.When compared to other speaker adapters, these are solid; literally. They are not the cheap, hollow plastic like most adapters. They're way more sturdy.Remember, it takes 2 sets to do all 4 doors.I just ordered a second group of these to upgrade my wife's GTI to Infinity Kappa's.

Fit my doors with a little effort. Be warned that the Honda Accord 2003 EX door holes are not large enough to accommodate a 6.5 speaker with a large woofer basket...but I was able to return my speakers and get a low profile speaker which fit perfect. If you want a full size 6.5, get a spacer that is .75-1 inches. This is not deep enough but doesn't require any special changes to the door panel.

I installed these spacers on my 2012 VW GTI with 6.5" Earthquake Sound Subs. The subs were a little but these fit perfectly on the speakers as well as the car. My only issue is that the subs are rather close to the paneling so there is some rattling. However, a little modification will do the trick!

They are solid and work perfectly for what I needed. I used them to mount my Earthquake Sound SWS-6.5X Subwoofers because the subs were too wide to fit the holes. These spacers were perfect for the subs with a slight modification. Very strong. I would definitely recommend.
